She has appeared in several films including Edward Scissorhands, Doubt, and United 93. She has appeared in many TV series including Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos, and The Big C. She played the same character (Judge Rebecca Steinman) in three different series of the Law & Order franchise (Original, Special Victims Unit, and Trial by Jury).
She has appeared both on and off Broadway.
