The Thrushes are a hacker collective and a member of The Blacklist.
The group was created in 1982 by a Bulgarian man Plemen Radkov. Four years later, he was sent to a Siberian gulag, where he died. The rest of the group then went underground, hacking into systems for clients who not only paid well, but gave jobs that were genuine technological challenges. Among the group's crimes were sabotaging the Istanbul-Ankara high-speed railway in 2009, costing the Turkish government billions, and a nuclear fuel enrichment plant in Jaipur, India, killing 37 people and exposing thousands other to radiation.
Elizabeth Keen states that the FBI caught the Thrushes.
